Clark Family Cleaning LLC Service Agreement
Our primary goal is to make our clients satisfied with the services we provide. In order to avoid miscommunications about the scope of our services, we have developed this Service Agreement. By booking cleaning services with Clark Family Cleaning by website, email, phone, text, or in person, you are acknowledging your acceptance of this mutual Service Agreement.
Cleaning Technician: Our technician will be respectful in your home by not eating or drinking, with the exception of water. For long cleans, our technician may take breaks in accordance to Oregon laws. Our technician is background checked and insured
Cleaning: In order for our cleaning technician to perform the job with the highest level of service, please note these limitations.
Clutter slows down and prevents our technician from performing a thorough clean of the surfaces under the clutter.
Cleaning Height Limit - our technician will only clean areas that are accessible by using a 2-step ladder.
Settling Dust - while cleaning some dust will become airborne, it may take several visits before settling dust becomes minimized.
Special Surfaces - you must inform Clark Family Cleaning of any special surfaces in your home prior to the date of your first cleaning. No liability will be assumed by Clark Family Cleaning LLC for damages to these surfaces if no prior information was given. Examples include: Marble countertops, waxed wood flooring, unfinished wood and flooring, and cork flooring.
House Cleaning Flat Rate Pricing: Our flat rate pricing is based on the number of rooms selected and assumes that your house is in average condition. Should we determine after booking that the information given was incorrect, Clark Family Cleaning reserves the right to adjust the pricing estimate or adjust cost of future cleans. We do not guarantee a set number of hours of cleaning for house cleanings.
Extra Services: The following services are available at an additional charge and are not included in our regular cleaning packages. With the exception our Move In / Move Out Clean that does include a number of extra services. Please refer to our Compare Job Types for a list of what is included in each job type. These services are extra:

Damage or Breakage: Our technician makes the biggest effort to leave your home in better condition that when they arrived. However, we are not liable for damages caused by normal wear and tear, improperly hung items, or valuables valued at over $100. You must inform Clark Family Cleaning of any valuables in your home over $100 so our technician can exclude them from the cleaning, or have you sign a waiver of liability.
Cleaning Supplies: If you would prefer, our cleaning technician can use your own cleaning supplies. Due to the fact that we are not as familiar with your products, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of them or the final result.
Hazards: You are responsible for informing Clark Family Cleaning of any hazards in your home. These include but are not limited to: bodily fluids from humans or pets, bug infestations, fire or smoke damage, and water or mold damage. We are not equipped to handle these types of conditions.
Safety and Working Conditions: For the safety of our cleaning technician, the temperature inside your home should be between 60 and 72 degrees. Our cleaning technician will not remove their shoes though our techniques make every effort not to leave any residue behind.
Access: At time of booking, please let our technician know where to park and how to access your home. You are not required to be home at the time of cleaning, but in the event that no one is home, an alternative access method is required.
You can let us know where you left a key (under the mat, in a lockbox, left with front desk/office, etc.) or provide a garage door opener or access code.
Please turn off your security system on the day of cleaning or give clear instructions and the passcode to disable it. Clark Family Cleaning LLC is not responsible for charges incurred from a security or police response due to your security system.
In the event that our technician cannot access your home due to no one home, no access instructions provided, or being turned away for any reason, a cancellation fee will apply.
Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Service Request Changes: In the event that you need to make changes to your service request, reschedule or cancel your cleaning, we require 24 hours notice. In the event that 24 hours notice is not given for rescheduled or cancelled cleanings, we will charge a 50% of booked services Cancelation Fee. Life happens, we are happy to reschedule your cleaning to an available time in our schedule that works better for you at no charge provided that 24 hours notice was given.
Payment: Payment is required on day of service. Leave cash or money order for our technician to pick up from your home or submit an electronic payment through a variety of different platforms.
Satisfaction Guarantee: It is our mission to provide cleaning services to our clients of an exceptional level. If you are not satisfied with the services you received, notify us within 24 hours of the clean. Our technician will come back to reclean the area if necessary.
Feedback: After each clean, you will receive an email with the opportunity to submit your feedback. In the absence of feedback within 24 hours, it will be determined that you are satisfied with the service.
